The veil was torn from top to bottom by God’s own hand to send a once-and-for-all message that He no longer dwells in buildings made by man, but by the power of the death and resurrection of His Son, He lives within those who choose to believe.
The temple of the Spirit, which is in each of us, is the place where we find real rest. And it is through the resting with Him – the time sitting and hearing – that He breaths life and truth into our thoughts, attitudes, decisions…
How we interact with God in the temple is up to us.
Are we busy rushing, talking, and scrolling? Or can we practice quieting our minds and voices long enough to hear His?
